This is especially the case when you basically force the person at the counter to stop and listen to you for a change instead of them trying to confuse you with techno babble intended to give them a leg up on you just so they can make a sale.
Complete Home Networks believes that if you do not understand the concepts before you have us install anything in your home, we haven't done our job right. Our goal is to inform and educate above all else. We enjoy hearing stories of customers who ventured to the computer store to purchase something and walked back out of the store with exactly what they needed and nothing that they did not need or want.
As more and more people flock to Cable and DSL/ADSL Internet providers for higher speed access, we see more and more DSL and Cable Internet users being left on their own. They lack the experience to take their home computers to the next level and they lack the proper assistance and information from the Cable and DSL/ADSL providers about their service as well as what their new capabilities truly are with their high speed Internet access. When it comes to home networking, the general attitude expressed by most Internet providers is "sorry, we can't assist you with home networks or home networking equipment".
Some Internet Service Providers (ISPs) that provide Cable or DSL/ADSL Internet access will be glad to upgrade your service and/or charge you an arm and a leg for equipment that can usually be purchased for 75% of the price as long as you know what you are purchasing and that you can seek out your own hardware provider. The Cable and DSL/ADSL providers are counting on users not knowing what they need and providing their own solutions at an incredible mark-up. Our hope is that companies like ours, force the Cable and DSL/ADSL companies to "get honest" with their customers and start assisting them with home networking instead of taking advantage of their customers.
In addition to education, Complete Home Networks provides customers with a complete line of custom services delivered right to your home. We can come to your home and provide you with several options and ideas to help you network your home. We can help you design a home network that suits your needs and your budget. You can have anything from a completely wired network to a completely wireless network or a hybrid network (wired and wireless). It all depends on what your needs and budget are for the project.
Complete Home Networks can also install permanent cabling in your home (a definite home improvement and worthwhile investment) if you so desire. Complete Home Networks wants to see it's customers happy with their new networks and able to utilize them to their fullest. We offer training and after-installation support. Complete Home Networks does not sell hardware, we work with any vendor/supplier you feel comfortable with and/or we can help you shop for a vendor you will feel comfortable with for any or all of your needs.
